Old Firm in England

When I first got fm this year I did my usual and started up a rangers file being a fan. I was unable to get into the game however and quickly abandoned. I then went into the editor and placed Rangers into the conference and started a fresh but again I couldn't get into that save either.

So... I have set up a little experiment wherein I have placed both Rangers and Celtic into the conference and will sim the game to see which club rises the quickest. To give Rangers a season to sort themselves out I have placed Celtic in the Northern and Rangers in the Southern division.

I will provide updates as to how the save progresses after each season. I am looking to score this and I am open to suggestions regarding this.

Also I will be interested to see everyone's predictions as to how both clubs will progress.

Turns out there is an error with my editor file. I have both teams successfully in their respective divisions but they are still in the Scottish national cups. I am wanting both teams in the English cups not the Scottish and I want both teams eligible for Europe through playing in England. Any help is greatly appreciated.
