Old Players

[Ubernisation]

Ok, so this is a toughie. I'm Rushden and Diamonds 3rd season, and thanks to a few sales and % of sale clauses, I have 50k to spend in the next window, the most i've ever had.

So, I want to sign one maybe two talismanic players, who are old former premiership players, who will hopefully last 2 seasons.

I'm in the 3rd season.

Players i've looked at so far:
Herman Hriedeson (just got snatched from my grasp)
Matt Duke
Ian Ashbee
Kenny Miller
Viduka
Gunnarson

Any ideas on players who fit the bill? Thanks

I campbell and Kanu both retiring, already tried them.
Can't find Primus, already retired probably.
Looking at Bowyer now... still worth 675k >.<

Also had a cheeky look at Giggs, Gary Neville and Scholes, all rejected me and then retired =/

he's an idiot on the game, constantly complying to media about wanting clarification on his role, or about lack of first team footy if you drop him a game.
He always plays poor, players get a disliking for him just dont go there with Bowyer

sibierski. i signed him from wigan 1st season for doncaster in championship, he scored 22 goals and finished top scorer for the season if he hasnt retired yet check him out i would have thought he maybe able to do it in league 1 or 2 for a few seasons
