Old players

So I just signed a 40 year old goalkeeper is it bad for team?? He is currently tutoring a young goal keeper I put him in match for 90 mints and he got tried so I had to rest him for next match :S so is this old guy worth it or should I terminate his contract?? I am currently playing as a lower league manager in England

Depends on his performances & mental stats. If he performs well or if his mentals are likely to benefit your young guy then i'd keep him, otherwise send him off to get the pension.
