Online Multiplayer Question

Hi there new here, i have never tried playing Fm online and now my best mate has just got a laptop with FM 15 so was wondering if there is a way of playing a 'career' online?

I know can play a game using a custom squad from offline careers but that's seems pointless to me, any help/ advice is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Yes, you can play a regular career online, it's exactly the same as an offline game except you can play with your friends in the same game. The versus mode with squads from offline careers is a separate mode entirely.
