Hi Guys

well , i'm new to this forum , i have a problem in setting the OI , first i want to know , Is it important to set it or not ? if yes , what setting i should put in every player ? because sometimes the opposite team play in a 4-4-2 formation , or with 4-5-1 or 4-1-2-1-2 , so , like every formation has different settings

Hey, I never bother with opposition instructions and I never have any problems.

As long as your team instructions and individual instructions for your own players are sorted then you don't need to worry about it.

The opp instructions seem to end up casuing more problems than anything else, i just leave the blank and trust the team instructions and individual ones to sort it out :) won two Premier Leagues titles back to back with Braintree town so i think they are just an added thing that is not essential to performing well. :)

I usually do this:

GK: Close Down
CB: Close Down
CB: Close Down

RM: Close Down, Normal Tackling
DM: Close Down, Show Onto Weaker Foot
CM: If they're attacking with high mentality stats, do AM instructions. If defensive minded, do DM instructions
Creative AM: Tight Marking, Show Onto Weaker Foot
LM: Same as RM

Target Man: Tight Marking, Tackling Hard, Show Onto Weaker Foot
Striker: Any other type of striker I just show onto weaker foot
