does anyone know if for example
we shoulld instruct our players to go in 'hard but fair' on frank ribery, means to go in hard, or normal:\?

go in hard if you have to or just read your assitants feedback see what he has to say
 
That's what he's asking. assistant tells him "hard but fair", he wants to know if that means hard or normal. Because it sounds "hard but not really", so easy, hard but fair, and go in full strength which I think is another I've seen.
