Hello.
I am trying to make a Ostersunds tactic like in real life, but I find it tough.
They usually defend in a 5-2-3 (when defending deeper it is a 5-4-1). When they attack it is usually a 3-4-3
The 3 front men, have creative freedom, while the 2 central midfielders (one plays deep and one who gets into the box).
At the same time, they defend pretty deep, but when they get a hold of the ball, they don't just rush the attacks. They keep possession and also keeps the ball until oppurtunity to get a chance. They have a different style from normal Swedish teams with the movement and possession. I have tried different scenarios.
But how do I make the transition? and also what roles could I give the players? Do I play with wingbacks or a normal 5-2-3? And how should I set the team instructions? I was thinking something like play out of defense, short passing, retain possession etc. But it does not seem to work.
Anybody who can help?
