i've just played a match where my GK handeld outside the box (i think it was on the line ^^)) i had to play one of my outfield guys in goal so i picked the tallest guy the game was 1-0 at the time, seeing him in goal was prob one of the funniest moments i've ever had in the game we were still doing well we conceed 2 goals both either of my keepers would of saved but strangly it finished 3-2 although im about to watch a replay of the final game as we scored a 3rd but it was disallowed for offside (i dont think it was) has this ever happend to anyone else ? i can assume there will be a few funny stories out there ^^)

Yep, Almunia handballed outside, got red card. Luckily I had Asenjo on bench.

i would of had a GK on the bench but im still on 1.3 and champ only allows 5 subs :(

I had kevin cuthbert sent off so ibrought on jamie mcdonald how i had on loan from hearts and he got injured but luckily i had a player who had on player posistions goalkeeprer as unconvincing so got lucky i guess

I am waztching match of the day anyboby else???

Manuel Almunia damaged his heel in a game, no keepers on the bench due to loaning out (stupid idea) and injuries. Abou Diaby played the rest of the game (around 13 minutes) in goal. His half-time rating was 6.5, and ended on 7.2! :D

I played a whole game with one of my outfield players in goal, with my Malmo game, it was the semi-final of the Swedish Cup ended up like 4-3 to me against AIK. Didn't realise it was an outfield player untill about the 70th and wondered why they kept scoring lol, haven't got a clue why he was in goal.

Not me but my opponent had to switch an outfield player in after I injured their keeper in the game.
Lucky for me too, they were leading by 1 with 10 minutes to go, I switched everyone to long shots often and won 3-1 in the game that clinched me promotion.
Wouldn't have been a difference if they had placed a pylon in goal, he handled nothing, the funniest goal was one of their defender heading the ball back towards goal, the goalie jumped over the ball and lay flat on his stomach while my striker walked it into goal.

Since then, I always have a goalie on the bench....

A few times in my FM history I've just not been paying attention and asked my assistant to pick without noticing I didn't have an available GK :$

Yeah, has happened once. Ended up with Chiellini in goal for me when playing as Juventus.

I allways keep a keeper on the bench for just that occasion but interesting to hear that keepers handle outside the box neve knew that before.

no however the other keeper sacored past me (my keeper missed the ball)
i'd be screwed i dont play sub keepers (2 Defenders 3 mids 2forwards)

Not to me but I know someone who has. Quite funny really. I'm sure every outfield player has a keeper rating, too.

i seen someone with a keeper rating of 5 in an international match on 05
