Just won the league title in my first year with St. Etienne, with players such as Kevin Monnet-Pacquet scoring 17 goals and getting 9 assists with the highest rating for a player in the league, with 9 finishing but impressive pace and power. Papy Djlibodji was an animal for 1.5m with his immense physical stats making him unbeatable at the back but possessing average mental and technical attributes. Now in my second season with Victor Ibarbo tearing teams apart with his 17 acceleration, strength and 20 pace, but finishing consistently with a rating of 10. Anybody else experienced anything like this?

As discussed over at SI forum too, there's more to scoring than just the finishing attribute.

if a player is fast and strong but finising is low doesn't matter.
if he is capable to keep calm in front of goal is most important.
finishing 18 but mental attributes low make a crappy striker
