Own Goals

Is anyone else tired of wicked strikes that tickle a defenders shorts, being counted as an own goal? Is this an error with the game? Any deflections of goalies are counted as goals, but if it hits anyone else even the slightest it's an own goal. oO)

Happened to me several times this season. Hulk cuts in the box beats two defenders and the shot doesn't even take a deflection it just went close to the defender and it was an own goal. I had to watch the replay several times and i didn't see any deflection.
Result is the same, but players' stats suffer a little. Anyway, slightly annoying, but a goal is a goal.

Don't look into the visual depiction too much. The 3d engine is pretty limited and it can't always show what really happened. The code will say own goal and the engine will try to replicate it to the best of its ability but seeing as it's not using a detailed engine it can't really show the full story.
