I play him on the right side of centre midfield, he's brilliant due to his left-footed play, seems to caue a lot of problems. He tends to alternate with Xavi and while Xavi is undeniably awesome, Ozil has strong stats if you train him well and tends to get a ridiculous number of assists and key passes for what is, in my team, a pure 'service position'. If he can pick up the PPM 'Looks for a pass rather than attempting to score' it's pretty ace, as with passing, creativity, flair etc all close to 20, he creates a lot better than he takes chances.
I don't think he has the physicality to dribble -that- well, so tend to play him as a pass and move type player who appears to tap a killer ball through the defence. Pretty great to watch with good inside forward movement.
