Was just wondering if anyone else is doing a Southampton save? and how Osvaldo is doing for you? im quite disappointed to be honest with the stats he has and the amount of chances i create in a game he has only scored 2 in 28 games and hasn't scored in 20!. Let me know how he is doing for you!

I've done a Southampton save, statted him up front with Rickie Lambert in his first season, scored 11 goals in 35 apps, this season he's done better though, 11 goals in 19 apps half way through the season.

Having such a difficult time with Osvaldo and its winding me up, he has been a complete donkey since day 1. Advanced forward, poacher, complete forward and deep lying forward all failing to spark his imagination reminding me of Afonso Alves at the Boro but with less goals. Gaitan, Ramirez and Salvio are supplying said donkey on a regular basis; to feet and in the air, yet Pablo Osvaldo has failed to net on more occasions than Ched Evans has on a night out in sheffield

For me he was decent, scored 9 in 9 games then broke his leg out for the season.. about to start my 2nd year and bought Dzeko so cant see him getting much game time XD

For me he is absolutely brilliant, got 15 in 13 games atm.
Playing him as an advanced forward, with 2 AM and 1 engage behind him.

enganche work far better with two strikers, btw.

Half way into my 1st season. Osvaldo did not start for the first 6-7 games because Lambert was doing well, he got injured and Osvaldo was poor. I played Rodriguez who did okay. Spoke to Osvaldo to try and get him going which worked, I play him as a Poacher with Gaitan, Salvio and Ramirez supplying him and he has been class.

Just started a Southampton save cause it was my favourite save last year, except I had the magical Bony-Lambert partnership up front this time round I've only one up front and Osvaldo is that one, sadly. If I get a bit of extra money in January I'm getting a new striker as Osvaldo is doing my head in. He's scored 5 goals in 4 games, pretty good I know. Wouldnt mind but he's missed so many simple chances and all he's scored are knock downs off corners from Musacchio and one strange goal off a very bad pass by Wanyama that slowly rolled to the opposition keeper which he somehow ran on to by sprtinting half the pitch.
Jay Rodriguez is a good player but only really a super sub for me 3 goals in 2 sub matches, no goals in 2 starts and as much as I love Lambert I dont really have much use for a player of his type.

Might try pick up Jordan Rhodes or even Demba Ba in January if I can

I simply used Osvaldo in the wings (AML). He used to cut in and score goals reasonably frequently for me. Sold him for 23 Million $ in the 3rd season to Liverpool. Btw, Lambert as lone TM with wingers supplying crosses works wonders/

I withdraw any bad thing I've said about Osvaldo. Won the league with Southampton in my first season. He led the scoring with 46 league goals.

Zuniga and Gaston Ramirez were both injured for 4 months during the season and yet he managed to step up and score goal after goal. Mostly taps in and a few spectacular goals. He missed about 7 out of 10 shots though
