Before The Release of FM10 I set up a thread with a poll asking for people to vote for what country I created a 4 tier league for. Malta finished top of the poll. I also stated that I was going to be playing as a team in the bottom tier of the country and leading them to greatness. While making this database and choosing the team I decide to make a twist, edit a team and make a new one. The team I edited was Qala St. Joseph FC, I changed their name to Panathinaikos St. Joseph and made them a feeder team to Panathinaikos OS of the Greek Premier Division. But before I am accused of cheating, I made no massive financial changes and only slightly edited finances to match the board take over and the small investment from the Panathinaikos board.

The set up of the Maltese Football League is like this.

Maltese Premier Division: 9 Teams. 4 Rounds. 3 Relegation Spots.
£1million TV Money. £2million Winner Money.
£500k Relegation Parachute Money.

Maltese First Division: 12 Teams. 3 Rounds. 3 Relegation Spots.
2 Automatic Promotion Spots.
4 Play Off Places - 1 Team is promoted from Play-Offs
£750k TV Money. £1million Winner Money.
£300k Relegation Parachute Money.

Maltese Second Division: 10 Teams. 4 Rounds. 2 Relegation Spots.
2 Automatic Promotion Spots.
4 Play Off Places - 1 Team is promoted from Play-Offs.
£500k TV Money. £750k Winner Money.
£100k Relegation Parachute Money.

Maltese Third Division: 10 Teams. 4 Rounds. No Relegation Spots.
2 Automatic Promotion Spots.
£300k TV Money. £500k Prize Money.

There is 4 Cups in The Maltese Football League System.

The FA Cup: Prize Money - £200k.
40 Teams from all 4 Tiers.
6 Rounds.

League Cup: Prize Money - £250k.
20 Teams from Top 2 Tiers.
5 Rounds.

FA Trophy: Prize Money - £200k.
20 Teams from Bottom 2 Tiers.
5 Rounds.

Super Cup: Prize Money - £400k.
FA Cup Winner Vs Premier League Winner.

I'm going to try and make a storyline out of this thread so the plot'll follow in my next post cause this one's getting a bit erm......long :)

If enough people want a download link then I'll upload the Database to the site.

It has today been announced that the takeover of Qala St. Joseph FC by the Panathinaikos OS board has been completed. One of the biggest changes involved in the takeover is the renaming of the club to Panathinaikos Saint Joseph FC. They have been relocated to the new 7800 capacity Gozo Stadium in Zurrieq. The two main characters in the takeover were Paul Buttigieg and Matthew Grima, though they have taken criticism from the fans of Qala SJ, they have spoken of their understanding of their distress but have also said that the renaming and relocating is for the better of the fans and the better of the club.

On the 30th of June 2009, former Bolton Wanderers Centre Back Paul Jones was hired as the manager of newly former Panathinaikos SJ of the Maltese Third Division.
Since his retirement Jones had been working as a scout at various clubs around England and Scotland as well as having a spell coaching in China. He was a well known figure in the 1970s and 80s after leading Bolton's backline in over 300 games before finally retiring at Stockport County.
Jones immidiately jumped to action by signing his two nephews, Sam and Harry Charnock (I've not given myself or Sam superhuman-like stats so dont worry ;)). Both players have had a short history in football, both aged 21.

Harry Charnock (AMC/FC)
Woodley Sports 2004-5. 12 Apps. 7 Goals.
£2k Move to Stockport County.
Stockport County 2005-9. 4 Apps. 1 Goal.
Huxing Stockport County (China) 2007-8. 14 Apps. 11 Goals. (Loan)
SK Victoria Wanderers (Malta) 2008-9. 27 Apps. 19 Goals. (Loan)
£25k Move to Panathinaikos SJ.
Panathinaikos SJ 2009-

Sam Charnock (GK)
Woodley Sports 2004-6. 37 Apps.
£2.5k Move to Stockport County.
Stockport County 2006-9. 7 Yth Apps.
Ashton United 2007-8. 31 Apps. (Loan)
Northwich Victoria 2008-9. 36 Apps. (Loan)
£20k Move to Panathinaikos SJ.
Panathinaikos SJ 2009-

Jones stated that he believed both of these players had a bright future in the game and -given the right coaching and guidance- they could be the leaders of the clubs quest to the Premier Division.

When asked for comments on his transfer, Harry Charnock said "I see this as a big stepping stone in my career, I know I wont be here forever but I see this as one big learning phase for me and Sam, and who better to teach us than our own uncle?".

Good Luck Harry.

Layout looks good hope you do well.
Also i think that red line when you double posts looks stupid if you edit the post you can get rid of it, Looks much better that way.

And it looks better if you keep the writing one colour :) i think it looks messy if its all different ones.
