I woke up one morning wen't down stairs and started cooking my omelet for breakfast.
I turned on the radio and started listening to the music and started to sing along
" I wanna be a billionaire so f****** bad
buy all of the things I never had
uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine
smiling next to Oprah and the Queen

Oh every time I close my eyes
I see my name in shining lights
A different city every night oh
I swear the world better prepare
for when I'm a billionaire."

Then the song stopped for an emergency announcement
" Carlo Ancelotti quits as Chelsea boss "

I have always wanted to be a manager, maybe this is my chance?
As i was in London for a meeting with my agent, i drove down to Stamford Bridge and wen't to the reception area and asked if the interviews were today, they said yes, so i walked down the corridor, only to see the likes of Keegan, O'Neil and Curbishley.. I sat down and waited for my name to be called out....

"Paolo?"
"Yes"
"You can come in now"
"Thank you"

Roman-Abramovich.jpg

I go through the door to see Roman Abramovich sitting at his desk.

"Hello Paolo"
"Hello"
"What makes you think you can get the job?"
"Well i am very experienced at high level football"
"Okay, have you ever had any experience in management ?"
"Umm... I have been a coach for Milan"
"Okay, thank you for coming and we will get back to you in the next couple of days"
"Thank you"

5 Days later .....

I heard the post man post a letter through my door i ran as i knew it would be the answer to my dreams, it was i started reading.

Dear Paolo,

Thank you for your application, we have assessed it and we are impressed by it
but we have had many applications from people who have had experience managing at a high level and you have no managing experience at the moment so we are sorry to say that you will not be the next Chelsea manager.

Your Sincerely,
Roman Abramovic

S***, i knew i would not get it, now what will i do i am bored sat here at home, doing nothing, so i open a can of beer and then go upstairs and go to sleep ...

O'Neil new Chelsea boss

martin-o_neill.jpg

O'Neil has only recently left Aston Villa

Great only chance of me getting a job has now gone, great!

I go sit in the kitchen and turn on the radio and guess what song was on Be happy, i couldn't feel more happy, i am a slob drinking all the time and have no F****** job what could possibly be better.
I decided to go and get my hair cut and i heard some people talking about who should of been then new manager and this is what they said,
"So who did you wan't to take over?"
"Mourinho"
"hahah"
"No joke okay?"
"Fine, i wanted Maldini"
"Why?"
"I don't know i just had a feeling he would bring us good things"
"Nice, anyway going to get my haircut, see you laters?"
"Yeah see you"

This made me feel a bit better, i sat down in the hairdressers waiting for my turn, i signed a few autographs for the people who was in before me and sat patiently for my turn.

hairdressers.jpg

"Next"

I got up and walked over to the chair and sat down,
"What do you wan't doing?"
"Trim please"
"No problem"

When i got home i just couldn't resist a drink so i opened the Rum and took a big sip, a few hours later i was a mess, i didn't know what i was doing i picked up another bottle of Rum and just threw it at the wall for no apparent reason, i think it was because i was feeling sorry for myself.
"Time for bed had a bit too much"

I go into my room and collapse onto my bed and go to sleep ..

2 weeks later ...

O'Neil quits Chelsea post

Martin O'Neil has today quit as Chelsea manager just two weeks after joining the club, it is thought that he had fallen out with Roman Abramovich after he wanted to sign a player but Abramovich said no, most Chelsea fans are disgusted with O'Neil and Abramovich has also stated he knows who the clubs next man in charge will be

Not me then! 'Sigh'

I log onto my laptop to see who it is only to see this,

Shock as Maldini is named new man in charge at Chelsea

20080930_zaf_i30_144.jpg

Former A.C. Milan legend Paolo Maldini has been named the new Chelsea boss, this has come a shock to most Chelsea fans as they would of liked a higher profile manager to take over like Fabio Capello. He has got the chance to build the squad as Roman Abramovich has had a change of heart and has given him £65m to spend.

F.A Community Shield
Chelsea v Manchester United

My first big test ..

I sat in the dugout waiting for kick off, i was nervous now, i could feel the pressure ..

In the first 15 minutes Manchester United were the better team, they had a majority of the possession as it showed in the 7th minuted Scholes whipped in a cross and Berbatov hit the bar.

'C'Mon push up and get a goal lads'

In the 22nd minute things picked up Ramires played through Gourcuff who then chipped it over to Drogba who smashed it past Van Der Sar
'Well done lads keep it up'

In the 26th minute Essien crossed it in to Lampard who had a shot but it was well saved by Van Der Sar, Drogba picked it up on the end of the area and layed off Gourcuff who curled it in the top corner.
'Yes. get in!'
*I pump my fists in the air*

Then in the 36th minute Rooney played through Chicarito who took it past Ochoa and passed it into the net
'Offside ref, it must be'
*I saw Sir Alex Fergusan give me a dirty look*
The assistant raised his flag and Chicarito looked devestated

From then we played some great football and that payed off as in the first half injury time we put together about 10 passes and then Cole played Gourcuff through to score his second of the game and on his debut.

'C'Mon lads, you were all over them, same again second half, Goucuff brilliant lad, so go out there and show them who the best team in England is''

Looks like the team talk worked as in the 49th minute Ochoa booted the ball up, Baptista played Lampard a neat ball who smashed a shot that Van Der Sar saved well but the ball fell to Drogba and he rolled it in the back of the net.

*I run down the touchline to him*
'Well done lads, brilliant'

Drogba celebrates his second

Final score
Chelsea 4-0 Manchester United

chelsea-community-shield-2009.jpg

Lampard and Terry lift the shield

*I will be doing this sort of layout for the big games against Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool etc.

Chelsea sign Bellamy
Chelsea have today confirmed the signing of Craig Bellamy on a season long loan with a view to a £5m move anytime in the loan.

Bellamy's press conference

Craig-Bellamy-006.jpg

Sky Sports News - Hello Craig, thank you for coming

Bellamy - Your welcome

Sky Sports News - Okay lets start then, how does it feel to be here in London now playing for Chelsea?

Bellamy - It feels great, i was obviously not in Roberto's plans and when i heard Chelsea were interested i can't really say no

Sky Sports News - What do you think about playing with the likes of Terry, Lampard, Gourcuff, Drogba, Cech and Essien?

Bellamy - Like i said it's a pleasure to be here, they are great players but i was used to that at City with Tevez, Adebayor, Robinho and Silva

Sky Sports News - You will have to battle for your place up front with the likes of Balotelli, Drogba, Anelka and Baptista do you feel confident that you will be able to get into the first team?

Bellamy - Yes, i am playing the best football of my life at the moment so yes i am confident of breaking straight into the first team

Sky Sports New - Lets finish off with this question, you are here on a season long loan but with a view to a permanent deal, how much do you wan't to stay here on a permanent basis?

Bellamy - Well City is my club at the moment and well i would be delighted if i could stay at Chelsea permanently but it's up to them

Press conference ends

A trip to Anfield

'Lads this is a must win okay, now c'mon lets get ready'

*I walk out onto the pitch and shake hands with Roy Hodgson*

'Lads remember what i said'

We got off to a flyer in the first minute when Bellamy ran down the line took on two players and had a shot, Reina saved well and it wen't out for a corner, we played it short and Bellamy found Essien on the edge of the area and he had a shot that hit Drogba and went in.

'Yes, what a goal'

We settled down and started passing it about but in the 18th minute Wilson played a neat one two with Cole and crossed it in and Kuyt rose above every one to head it past Ochoa.

'Unlucky lads now push up and get a goal!'

Things got worse as in the 36th minute Mascherano played a poor ball through but Terry missed it and Cole finished and ran straight over to the Chelsea fans to celebrate the fans tried to get past the stuards to hit him but they couldn't.

In the 44th minute Bellamy was clean through and about to shoot when Carragher took him out.

'Off ref he was the last man'

He didn't give him a card

'What? F****** stupid'

But Gourcuff stepped up to take it and my word am i glad as he smashed it straight in the top corner, the whistle blew for half time near enough straight after.

'Come on lads we were hammering them, what happened?'
Most of the answers were ' Don't know'
'Okay, push them back towards there own area and you will surely score'

That's exactly what they did and we did score as Lampard played through Balotelli who neatly finished past Reina.

*I ran down the line to congratulate them*
'Great goal lads, now do the same again'

In the 60th minute they was on the break with Johnson he squared it to Mascherano who played it to Ba and he had a shot and it was destined to be a goal until Ochoa dived across and tipped it over.

In the 69th minute we was all over them and Terry passed it to Balotelli who turned Agger and smashed a shot that Reina saved well but Lampard was there to cross it in and Drogba was there to head it in.

'Yes! Get in!'

We were the better team from then we had the majority of the possession but there was no real chances.

Final score - Liverpool 2-4 Chelsea
