Parent Club Problems! Help!

I've recently started a new game with St Mirren FC in Scotland and I desperately need 2 new CB's. However the team don't have the funds or the wage budget to sign two new players of decent calibre. I have resorted to finding a parent club (Liverpool) and have been looking to take a couple of their CB's on loan.

However, when I go to place an offer in for some of their reserve players it tells me I have to pay a loan fee plus a minimum of 50% wages! This defeats the purpose of Liverpool being my parent club. Is their any way around this?

I don't think you get to pick the players you want from your feeder club -- they just get to pick players to send on loan to you. Hope they choose wisely!
