patch 11.1.1 problem

hey guys. i've had a 11.1.1

once i patched it with the russian version, i couldnt open my fm.exe.

so i uninstalled my game.

reinstalled it, and tried patching with 11.1.0 this time since i was doing fine without the latest patch. but this time they said that my game version was already the latest 11.1.1 so i could not patch the 11.1.0

weird because i uninstalled the game entirely so by right it should be version 11.0.0

even weirder is that in the game menu, it shows version 11.0.0, but i cant patch it to 11.1.0.

pls help sports interactive guys.
 
rafmarinello, just because he owns the Russian version does not make him a pirate. There is a legitimate version of the game specifically for Russia. At least do some research before you post so you don't make yourself out to be an idiot.

Voxov, uninstall the game, then make sure the Football Manager 2011 folder is completely gone. It might also be a good idea to clear your registry with a program like CCleaner. Then reinstall, and make sure you install the Russian version of the patches as they are different, AFAIK.

Alternatively you could just install it via Steam.

just figured out why it did not work. and now you confirmed it.

i have football manager 2011 11.1.1 from 11.0 now that i updated only russian works
 
I think he means that he was using an English language pack for the Russian version of the game and after updating it no longer lets him select English as a language, unfortunately I have the same problem :/
 
Yeah I'm having a similar problem, after updating to the latest patch version, I can only select Russian. I've checked the installation folder, and all the other language files are still there, but the game is failing to find them. If anyone has an answer it'd be much appreciated, as I've tried everything I can think of.
 
Did you update using the Russian only patch?

Well SI have locked the Russian retail versions to Russian language only, because the pirate version leaked from Russia, and so required a language pack.

You could always uninstall and reinstall using steam.

If not I would email SI (probably with proof of purchase/your games activation key) and they may be able to help.
