Pavel Nyakhaychyk is ineligible for Euro Cup

hi I'm managing Galatasaray in Turkish Premier Division and I signed Pavel Nyakhaychyk.He can play in my league matches but I can't play him in Euro Cup.I joined Euro Cup starting from the 3rd round but when it was time to register my players for 3rd and 4th round it says ineligible.Do anyone knows why?

it means he might have already played earlier in the competition with the team you signed him from

He is cup tied because he will have already played for bate in the euro cup so he can't play for another team in the same copmetition until next season.

Yes, i reckon he's cup tied, who did you sign him from, if it was a eastern european team then they usually play in the earlier stages of the competiton.
