Pavel Savitskiy work permit not working?

Hi everybody,

I signed Pavel Savitskiy on a free transfer for MK Dons and he is a Belarus international so I was sure he would get his WP, but it was rejected! Anybody have an idea why or how to get it accepted?

His reputation likely isn't high enough. I've had issues with it in FM16. FM15 usually after loaning him out a season it was fine, but in this version it's a bit more of a pain it seems.If you can, loan him to Spain France or Germany.

There are certain aspects that play a part in a player getting a work permit such as him playing 75% of his nations games in the last 2 years (I think). The reputation level of the nationality of that player is also a consideration. Too low or more obscure nations will cause an issue in getting a work permit. Top 70 rank or so nations make it easier I think. The reputation of the player as well will play a part.

The only way to get round it is either, not sign the player or sign him and loan him out. I think you can re-apply for a work permit every 120 days. I usually find re-applying tends to get a work permit as I have done it with a number of players on fm. This year with Cristian Pavon
