PC Upgrade for FM13

Hi,

I've been a fan of the Football Manager series for a number of years, but have noticed that as each version progresses it runs slower and slower on my pc.

Can anyone give me an idea of the easiest/cheapest way to upgrade so I can play say 4 nations at around 4 star performance.

My current machine has an AMD Athlon X64 Dual Core 2.4, 4 GB RAM and an ATI Radeon 6350 with 512MB RAM and Windows 7.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you running 64 or 32 bit windows? I assume it's 64bit. I would upgrade to an intel i3 or i5 processor £75-£150.. Graphics card isn't massively important and 4GB RAM should be fine.. Although RAM is cheap to buy so you could go for 6GB?

I'm not an expert, though.

Thanks for the advice. I'm running on an AMD mobo. Can you suggest a good cpu with similar power the the intel i3 and i5 chips and reasonably priced?

Hi,

If I swap my amd dual core 2.4ghz for a phenom quad core 2.5ghz, will this this give a serious boost to my system? Enough for me to play 4 nations at 4 stars?
