Since the latter stages of FM13 ive been trying to recreate Pellegrini's style at Manchester city. Im a big City fan and have watched every minute of pellegrini's reign so far.

One thing i cant replicate at the minute is, City set out 4-4-2 but if you notice when they have the ball on the right with Navas/Nasri, Silva comes right across to join the play allowing tight triangles/1'2s to create opportunitys. Vice versa if Silva has the ball on the left Nasri would come over and join the play.

Obviously the opportunity to switch the ball would still be there as the fullback on the opposite flank to the action would have acres of space to attack.

Can anyone think of a way to play this sort of way while still operating what would look like deffensively and in the tactics screen a 4-4-2?

Have the two full backs, get further forward, hug line... and Nasri/Silva as Advanced playmakers Support with Roaming from position.
