Right...

My battery on my Blackberry didn't charge. Got out and bought a new one - and it worked fine. Battery was running out whilst I was listening to music, and I didn't realise, but then it said, ''battery drained - shutting down handheld''.. and it won't charge or turn on. Sigh.

Any help?

Refrain from the ''get an iphone''/''wouldn't get this with HTC'' BS.

Did you give it a good 18 hour charge before using it for the first time? If not that could cause your battery not to have charged properly. Have you ever dropped the phone? Could be a loose connection when hooking up to the charger. Or it may be your charger being dodgy. I had the problem a few years ago with a samsung phone. The charger was faulty. Got a new charger and it charged my phone fine.

It's definatley not the charger - tried a few. The battery worked fine, until it ran out and now it wont charge.

Probably the connection on your phone then, or maybe even the socket, try a different plug.

It's most likely a software error in the battery status monitor. Do a hard reset and see if it helps.
