Italian Serie A seems to be a very close one, little difference between the top and middle of the table, so I would say pick it as one of the two.
The other would depend on what you want: several strong teams to dish it out? English Premier. Fight to break the dominance of one or two giants? Spain.
If you're to manage one of the giants then English and forget about Spain, because with Real Madrid and Barcelona it's rather boring.
