Player/Assistant Manager job?

I was triying to sign this guy and I dont know what is that Player / Assistant manager clause. How does it work?

Well, basically he'll be your assistant, therefore helping you out with match preparations or training. However, he can also be used as a player so as well as helping you out with training and all that, you can use him in matches. Most of the time when that clause is offered the player isn't capable of playing every match or no longer has the skills to perform at that level.

I`ve looked at his phisycal stats and he has like 13 pace and good stamina and acceleration. And I Already have a good Assistant Manager will he replace him?

Mostly likely, yes. I've never had an player/assistant manager so I'm not sure but when you have player/coach they are counted as one of the coaches.
