Ok, so a player whose weakness is consistency. How do we make that no longer a weakness? I have a great regen striker who perform worse than other strikers and has much less frequent good/goal scoring games, despite him having superior stats to said other strikers, yet they have consistency as a strength. Any ideas?

I'm guessing, as this is a mental attribute, tutoring would work. Maybe someone else here can confirm this as I avoid players with consistency as a weakness.

Pretty sure it's one of the few dynamic attributes, so just give him more game time and it will slowly increase it will also increase with age for most players. (Not 100% sure on this, it used to be this way)
Tutoring may have an affect on it but again, would need to find someone suited to doing it and not completely sure if it would work.

I've never had much issues with it myself, most still tend to do very well throughout the season.

I have noticed some changes with tutoring. If you use a solid striker to tutor a younger one they tend to become quite solid players. But I feel consistency can be quite hard to determine as there is so many hidden attributes affecting their form. Their adaptability, consistency, mental state (nervous, complacent), jadedness and match fitness. I usually have to use a player for 3 years before I can determine if he is consistent or not. If he responds to team talks and dicipline etc.

It's very frustrating as I got him for pittance and developed him as a player. Had him tutored by a player with strong mental attributes previously to no avail. His stats are brilliant but these hidden attributes seem to make more of a difference than actual stats. What's the use in all the quality stats if the AI is going to make him good for two games and then poor for three? It makes him effectively useless in my team as I don't know when he is going to be on-song. He's still only 20 so I'm just hoping good performances and gametime will rectify this...
