Why does this sometimes not allow you to tell a player to tutor another

Just signed promising Liam Polworth for Celtic and his idol is Beram Kayal but unlike the previous save i cant get Beram to tutor him.frustrating

Any help?

got the same problem m8. all i done was put commons jst behind my striker n converted him 2 amc till january. after tht stint of tutoring kayal was o.k with it. hope tht helps
