Player Filters built in do not Work ? Help

Help please !! i have just been messing around looking for certain player position using the Filters , Say For Complete wing back for instance and all i ever get back is '' 0 '' Results and i tried this for every position and have the same results . Is it a bug ? Why have them built in , if they do not produce results or am i being a complete fool and do not know how to use them properly ?

reduce the value of each attribute untill players pop up. make sure you have the filter unrealistic transfers box unticked (as this will show more players) reduce the amount of matching attributed (eg from 13/13 to 9/13) and Lastly improve your scouting knowledge
