I've been having some trouble with Wayne Rooney's form in my Man Utd save. in my first season he scored 22 in 36 with 19 assists in all competitions. He would've done more, but got injured for 3 months. Now, in my second season, he's only scored 12 in 28 with 8 assists. His rating has fallen from 7.49 to 7.21 this year and he's been incredibly inconsistent, with some terrible performances from November through January. It's been 921 min since his last goal. What is going on and how can I get him back to his goal-scoring and creating ways. The whole team is suffering because he is such a key player and the title race with City is heating up. Any advice on pulling him out of bad form. For most team-talks, he ends up fired-up and morale is generally at about a fairly good average throughout the team, if that helps.

You had a private word with him? Set specialised training for him on finishing/ composure and team prep to attacking movement, should all help with more goals.

It happens for some reason, Van persie for me pulled off hattricks here and there but ended matches poor most of the time. It's maybe against some teams you could play him wrongly. He isn't very fast or a good dribbler so putting him as a poacher etc. could be difficult. Make sure you have someone like Hernadez next to him. Them 2 have destroyed the premier league together.

But to be honest, 7.21 is good. I wouldn't be complaining if my players were that. Maybe in the first season he was just playing remarkably good and this is normal Rooney.

this is normal rooney and i bet he will soon ask for a new contract requesting insane wages
