Hi, briefly as possible - signed a Scotch player for V.Guimaraes in Portugal in time for 2nd season. Scouts said he is fairly adaptable. Plays 2 games and is on my sub bench. After 3 weeks he says he is struggling to settle. i give him leave, he goes and comes back, then gets injured for a few weeks. While injured he comes and says he is still struggling to settle. I offer to by another Scot, he rejects, i tried something else, i think it was to loan him out, he also rejects, the only thing that will pacify him is another leave, which reluctantly i gave to him. 2 weeks into this he comes to me and says he wants first team football and may leave in order to get it??!! Agreed to let him go ASAP as he annoyed me, however no one will buy him and cant afford to cancel his contract. Ideally i would like to get him sorted out as he is rated as potentially a key player for my team. Its now January and he is on loan at Derby in England. Has anyone else had this happen? Any ideas?
