just wondering if anybody knows how much difference it makes to how s new player plays who dosnt speak the language native to the league there playing in?

It just takes them a little longer to settle in. Although if you have others in your team of the the same nationality who speak the language or someone on their favored personnel list then they are quicker to settle in

I cant say how much the player and the team will suffer, not exactly how much, but naturally, the player will not have settled yet ( ungelled) until he can speak it a bit. Things like offside traps, following the generall directions, the positioning and the players decisions will be less good
