Player morale

hi am having a right problem with player morale. i have noticed over the last 3 seasons with newcastle united that..
morale is really high at the start of the season but when i hit jan/feb morale is really bad been loosing lots of games. i was 2nd and now coz of morale am down to 8th Grrrr. just 1 example pappiss cisse scored 18 goals in 15 games he was on fire... now hasn't scored in the last 6 games
My team talks are the same as the start of the season just dont no what to do. been doing team meetings etc etc.
hads anyone else noticed this? and is there anything i can do.

sounds wierd but do a private chat and tell players your unhappy with their form if its below 6.40, in 99% of cases they will get a morale boost

ok i'll try that. just thought the game want in a patten, good at start then fall off at the end. thought it mite of been the staff or sumit like that. maybe i have took newcastle as far as i can or does it not have sumit to do wit i put my football exercises as sunday league?

After 3 seasons your sunday league experience won't matter, cus you'd have built up a reputation and be respected

When your team's in a bit of a slump try being a bit more lenient with your team talks. tell your lads to play without pressure, and at half time, if you're drawing or losing by one goal, tell them they've been unlucky.

Definitely do the private chats with them about form, and also check their training levels as well. If they havn't been performing in training (attribute drops etc.) then have another chat with them about that. Chats help!

I find the team meetings a bit risky, and to some this might seem like cheating but I usually save the game before I give one. (Only because it takes a while to get used to the mechanics!) When you give the team meeting, if players have positive reactions ask the room what they think. If your captain has a positive reaction to your talk, ALWAYS ask him what he thinks, then say thats the reaction you were after and conclude it. usually you can make 60-80% of your squads morale go up by at least 1 arrow, occasionaly more
