Player Motivation Problems

Morning all,

i have come with a big problem. im manager of man united and my assistant manager told me that Lance Thompson (generated player)
has motivation issues playing for me as manager. I dont want to sell him because hes 20 years old and for his ability hes putting cristiano ronaldo on the bench! Has any one got any ideas to get that motivation back or is it the end of the road for him at man united?

oh i been there for about 4 seasons and i signed him from coventry for 1.9m. hes bin there 4 bout 3 seasons so i dont understand why hes lost the motivation to play of all clubs man united!
