Ok so I just wanted to find out what player personalities I should be looking for to keep a tight defence? I'm guessing professional?

I'm managing Lyon and one season I conceded 16 in 38 games (which wasn't too bad), but the next season almost double that, whereas i'd like to keep it under 10. I have good enough players, the right tactic, but my squad overall personality is listed as determined/highly ambitious.

Sometimes before the match i'll have complacency issues, which isn't too much of a problem as I can use teamtalks, but during the second half if i'm 2 or more goals up, they'll concede a stupid goal that they'd never concede at 0-0 or 1-0, even against really bad teams. (Concentration levels are all pretty high, btw.)

Is the determined personality the cause of this complacency? And is there no way I can mould them to be more professional, for example?

Thanks in advance.

dont think players personalities make them play better, it may have a slight impact on how they play but minimal if not at all.

for defenders you just need good stats in positioning, concentration, anticipation, teamwork, jumping, composure and determination and then the defensive stats :D

i have a spirited Cb, Leader, Fairly Professional and Light hearted, they are awesome Cb, they dont concede much at all, asking to concede less than 10 a season is asking a tad much there mate i had just come from a 13 conceding season and thats the best i have had
