Player Recommendations and Question on leaving

Hi Guys,

First question my best player Berardi (played 42 scored 39 assists 22. won all awards at the end of the season) wants to leave. I have tried all the options but he is adamant he wants to go, if I force him to stay I know he will play badly for a while but will he eventually come out of it?

Also I am looking at Guedes from Benfica as a replacement if not (has anyone used him?). I have tried Malcom for a season and he is nowhere near as good as he was in F16.

Any other AML or AMR's you would recommend? (3rd season Crystal palace finished 3rd last season with 37 mil spend)

Finally I need a solid DC. Currently I have Doria and Canceres but I am looking at Sule (who is unhappy at real) and Lemos but both are 15-20 mil range and would kill my budget. Is there anyone else just as good and cheaper???

Maybe telling him you will sell him once you have a replacement will work. That will at least give you a chance to find good player without the risk of losing the one you have.

Try offer new contract before any bids from other clubs made.
Beware of any promises you offer to him.

he's still bedding into my save ive been introducing him as a rotational player so far this season guedes that is defo worth the buy imo im just trying to keep mkhytrians value up till end of 1st season so playing him as 1st choice as he doesnt fit into my style of play

Can you tell me how are you doing in the league? Because Berardi will be looking to go to a club where he can win titles, and if you cam't garantee him that, he will always want to leave. Keep playing him, do some good signings to show him that you really want to improve your team. After this he will problably forget the idea of leaving.

I had the same problem with him in my Sassuolo team, and by doing what i've told you, together with great results, he decided to stay and i end up winning the league on my second season (first season i ended up in 3rd, just one point from Rome (2nd) and 5 points from Juventus (champions).
