Am playing wit Tytherington Rocks on the lower leagues game. Have got them promoted about 5 times from Hellenic League. Im now about to start in league 2.
I have 2 very very good players i signed for free when they were 16 and have been with me since first season, playing as stars every year. Coach reports say they are championship standard players and are still only 20.
They are 5 star standard in league 2 and i could probably fetch about 500k each for them with a 50% of next sale clause.
I would rather keep them as they could help me acheive promotion etc.
However.....
They are both on £1000 a week part time contracts. Most of my team have signed full time contracts on about £400 a week average.
However with these 2 i cant get near to what they want per week to sign full time.
Also my wage budget is tiny !!! only £8k per week so those 2 alone take up 20% of my wage budget which i am already slightly over.
And i have about 500k in the bank - so not desperate for the money at the mo.
So the question is do i..........
- Sell immediately for whatever i can.
- keep and see how they perform and sell in jan.
- keep regardless as they are best players at the club.
Suggestions welcome - what would you do ?
