Not sure if this belongs in this section (please move if so).
Right with the whole real life crisis of clubs in debt and going in to administration and what not, I think a lot of the problem is down to player wages and the enormous amount clubs splash out on them.... so I was thinking of taking a high profile club (no doubt Arsenal) and seeing if I can start making a lot of profit (obviously winning competitions/trophies) but mainly through structuring the clubs finances and trying to not spend a great deal on transfers and look at bringing in cheap young players and nuturing them.... but as I am aware even when players start making impacts they start wanting more wages. So does anyone know of not exactly a way around it, but possibly a way of getting players to accept lower wages on their contracts? I would ideally like to cap the 'big' players at £100K, then start going down from there.... I am hoping to get a structure of for example no one under the age of 18 on more then £10K, then under 21s no more then £20K.... well something along those lines.
So if anyone has any tricks or no how on how exactly I can get around such high wages (I'd rather not have to pay a hefty signing on fee or extra clauses either, as I think in the long run it costs the club more).
Thanks for any help.
