So i've finally persisted into season 15/16, this is probably one of the longest stints i've ever managed to play for. I started at Arsenal stayed for 3 years, moved to Roma, and then after 6 months Palermo and was then offered the Barcelona job at the end of season 14/15 so i took it.

The problem i am having is player wages, every player seems to want £200k+ per week... barcelona board will only allow me @220k per week. My wage budget is £3.5M p/w and i am currently at £3.1M p/w, but they still will not allow me to offer more. For example Messi now wants £375k p/w and i am very cose to losing him to city (which would never happen IRL).

Anyone got any tips on either decreasing what messi wants (i've negotiated him down to £375k p/w from £450k) or increasing what Barca will allow me to offer?

Cheers all

Try offering them a higher sign-on bonus and agent fee. That usually does the trick for me.

well u could increase performance clauses, like for goals or team of the year bonus, and offer an average 200k.

1) sell players and put the money into your wage budget
2) ask the board to increase your wage budget
3) high signing on bonus and performance clauses as mentioned above :)

For me De Gea wouldnt budge from 275k but my maximum was 190k so I put in match highest earner and he accepted straight away

until you want to sign Messi or Ronaldo and they ask for 350k a week salaries and you sign one of them, all of a sudden you are paying 700k a week for two players :) just keep that in mind when signing big players with big salaries!
