Players being ridiculous arseholes?

I complimented a player for scoring in the last game, and he said that I've treated him unfairly and requested a transfer! Now he won't talk to me or open contract negotiations!

Has anyone else had this happen?

No, but I myself happen to think that it's quite impossible to talk with your players in this game. Actually, this just happened to me: I told Xavi that he would be a wonderful coach in the future. He then tells me that he could start right away. But, even though appreciating his enthousiasm, I just say that the time has not come yet. Right. Then, he ends the conversation and is now mad at me.

I don't know, but considering the fact that apparently, players seem to be quite often irritated by some subjects in the private discussions, even when you want to congratulate them, the point of having private conversations with them is close to pointless.

By the way, how long exactly does the player stay mad at you after he didn't react well at a private chat?

I've got two players who have been furious at me for 6+ months.

Hotfix? I've got the 11.1 patch, but that's it.

i drew with villa 2-2, im united and i said it was a disapointing match....Valencia got sent off and my back four had a shocker...next thing i know rio ferdinand, rafael and valencia want to speak to me....all saying i treated them unfairly after the match....Valencia GOT SENT OFF of course im going to say i was disapointed, i gave **** to him and i told ferdinand sorry ill try better next time and he says he doesnt believe me!!!!!!!!!! i sorted him out by threatening the transfer list but rafael said the same thing and i said something about disrespecting me and he ended the conversation...private chats are a good idea but they are horribly done

I love the private chats! Much better than when you used to fire someone in the reserves because theyre coming back from an injury and lacking match fitness and they suddenly don't want to work with you. Players being arseholes is more realistic too. I bet Mancini has to put up with that pish all day long from some of his stars. I agree they could do with a bit of work but still a massive improvement

like the private chats too, but when Bendtner was fit after being injured for long time i wanted him to try get match fit, but no option to put players in reserve to get "match fit", only to put them in reserves like some sort of punishment. anyway he wasnt happy so wanted to be put on transfer list. its only Bentdner so not ****** off, but would like option of better dialouge for players that i do want to keep

I also like the private chats but they are a bit stupid when I fined Jason Euell for a sending off, the whole squad wanted to talk to me, then all but 3 put in transfer requests.. basically ruining my promotion chasing season.
