Is there any reason why a player's determination might drop? I have a determined squad and it has happened to a couple of my yoputh players (in rotation roles) and it's rather annoying. My 16 year old with 20 determination has now dropped to 19 and I'm concerned it may continue. It has happened to the occasional other player too.

What have their average ratings been like? Are they getting much game time?
If their professionalism stat is low, it may (I'm guessing here) cause their determination to drop if things are not going their way; injuries, no first team, low standard of training, ect.
Just a hunch, not sure about it.
