does anybody know how to get the respect of the dressing room? if i start with a big club everyone seems demotivated because i am a 'nobody'. how do you get around this?, as it means you're doomed before you begin.

thanks for any help!

Same here mate!!

Apparently rewarding them with new contracts helps.

I dont think you are meant to be making massive changes to the squad ingoing and outgoing.

I have been flying with Ajax for 2 seasons and the dressing room is very poor even though thier moral individually is superb!!

I think once you have a settled squad and dont need to keep selling your rubbish players to bring new ones in it should improve

You don't. Which doesn't exactly mean you're "doomed" per se. Avram Grant @ Chelsea anyone? I reckon it's pretty realistic that way, you can't just come out of nowhere and expect everyone to start heaping praise on you.

Best thing you could do is to make sure you win your games week in week out and if by the end of the first season you still have the same problem I'd sell the players who still doubt my proficiency ;)
