Players here one minute, but not next ?

Hi guys my 1st post here!

I have been playing Football Manager since 08 and love the game! Im now on FM2009 with a QPR career and something very perculiar has happened. Basically i messed up my QPR career as i was being too pig headed with my contract negotiations and was released by QPR (after a very good promotion challenge, and signing some decent players). Not only that but the game auto saved before i had realised what had happened.... So i thought id start it again but basically sign the same players i had the last game (i was only in my 1st season anyway).

However, i signed a very good Ukrainian under 21 striker called Oleksandr Gladkyi who banged in 26 goals for me. When i started my other QPR game i couldnt find him ? I even went to the club i signed him from (shakhtar) and still no results.

Anyone know why this is ? Thanks :)
 
maybe you need to set as ukraine league as managable
 
Ah, maybe! I can't remember doing that the 1st time round. But doesnt the game remember your settings from last time round ?
 
i thought it does tho...but sayin tht the same has happened with me just send a scout there mite help find players
 
try making a shortlist and saving the players. It should make them load up when you start a new game
 
its because of the database size do large database and he should come up

Buddy, I've checked my database for him - you don't need Ukraine league or Ukraine players, just use LARGE db and you'll have him.
