Players Into Coaches

How do you do this i have tried and cannot seem to work out how you turn a player into a coach. Do you have to wait for them to retire?

In player interaction you can say the player would make a good coach. However that he may does so before retiring I think is left for the game rolling he decides to do so. I don't think there's anything you can do, other than perhaps spam him with that message, but then he could go on activating his filters on you.

I think so, though they won't retire if they want to become a coach.

i have found on a few occasions that players who state "would like to take up a coaching role" or whatever it says that once they stop getting games in the first team or get a really long injury they tend to call it a day and take up the coaching offer.

well you can change it in the editor too who you want to become a coach.
