players leaving

may just be a stupid mistake i'm making but after i spend money on a player and finalise contracts a couple of days after signing they leave because their out of contract and i lose out. i've checked the contract length on offer etc. but it still happens.

Lol never seen this one before. Are you using 11.3 patch ? Or Custom DB ?

using a custom db. i've bought a few players without a problem. when i sign them and check their details under the time of contract remaining it says N/A then the next day they leave because their out of contract.

yep, that custom db is bad. or your save game is corrupted. I advise you to start over again.
