I'm playing a narrow 4-5-1 with my AMR/Ls playing as inside forwards (4-3-3 basically). My AMR/L seems to get a lot more chances for goals than my ST who is often left to hit and hope with long shots. Is this just a characeristic of the formation or is there a way I could utilize my ST more?

FYI
AMR - Robin van Persie - Inside Foward
AML - Arshavin/Walcott - Inside Foward
ST- Dzeko/Bendtner - Complete Foward (with some tweaks)

Thanks in advance.

it depends on who you want to be the main goal threat

have them either as target men to help bring the inside forwards into the play alot more as well as themselves (training Dzeko to play with back towards goal etc etc) or try set them as poachers waiting around for your inside guys to create chances or the gk parrying shots into their paths.

dzeko brilliantly starts with plays with back to goal. personally i like to use my complete forward as a false nine (set to complete forward/support but wideplay to normal rather than moves into channels), dropping off and suck the markers out of positons for my inside forwards

hahha, once again, never bought him :P yeah, keep him in the centre, he must not move off the ball at all, he needs to stay there! or set him as target man ball played to feet and this will allow this to happen, it will bring him into the play for definate and will allow spaces to open up for your inside forwards running all around the edge of the box....(K)

For me Eduardo always misses chances despite playing in his best role Poacher.

Also my winger Van persie scored 38 in 38 games last season for me.
Plz tell me something to do for Eduardo!! Thanks!! ;)

I want my ST to be my main goal threat. My inside fowards get enough chances as it is :P
