Playing this formation

..................Taylor...................
Parnaby..Taylor..Ridgewell..Murphy
............Bowyer..Carsley............
Larsson....Spanish guy....Mcsheffrey
.................Mcfadden...............

Am new to game this year; I can't stop letting in goals!!
sorry couldn't remember spanish guy's name :)
Anyway I don't think my tactics are the problem I think it is my teamtalks; it could be tactics though so post if you think so.
I seem to never lose at home and most of the time I tell them I expect them to win at home. I dont know what to say away from home because that doesn't work. Does anybody have a routine of what they say for specific matches or different situations.

Thanks for any help.

well your tactics seem fine, I tend to put 'Tell the players they can win the game!' before the match becuasde saying you expect them to win just puts added pressure and your players start to get nervous>

that starts to make your players not 'looking' foward to the game which doesnt help. Should try what i do to get your players looking foward to the game to get better performances.

but, Half time team talks are way more important should be concentrating on them:) good luck.

yea before a game always say you can win or mostly for the fans, that normally get a response, never say i expect a win even if u do cas i have noticed over the years it iver puts pressure on or they take it easy. Half time i would sayfor the fans or keep it up if your drawing or winning but when loosing ask where the passion is or you can win this. After the game if a player has done well let him no by saying you done excellent, it does their confidents the world of good.

my player's confidence is extremely low, should i adapt my teamtalks because of this?

The "i expect a win" team talk seems to work better since the new patch.
