Please help find out why I can't play my player?

Player - Michu

I signed him on a free just before the season started and he is registered to be able to play in the premier league. However, I can't play him for some reason and all it says is unavailable and no reason for it. It doesn't say apply for a work permit so I don't think it's that plus he used to play for Swansea.

Any ideas, please help?

He was released after the deadline day IRL. That means he's registered for Swansea until Jan and no one else can play him until then.

You'll be able to play him then in Jan.

It's the same with Adebayor and (I think) Amalfitano.
