please help me I'm getting bored of football manager.

I keep restarting the game as I can never get tactics and instructions to work with any team. I keep getting battered.

I usually love playing a normal 4-4-2 or the same 4-4-2 but push the wide players further up in to an attacking winger position.

What instructions would you set to all players as I can never get my tactics to work for any team. I must have restarted my management about 20 times as I'm getting fed up.

please help and get me back into play football manager.

mate, just go to the tactics section and download one 442 that works. If you don't like to download, read what people are doing and try to emulate
 
In all seriousness try masturbating during loading screens. Makes football manager so much more fun....... my friend told me.....
 
Try Jasser's bomb tactic, it's excellent and he provides great detail on how it works. Using it on the Romeo big 5 challenge.
 
You're only allowed to sign players with Jeff in the name, Jefferson, Jefferson Montero etc... every pass has to be met with an "Unbelievable Jeff" in the accent of the player who is passing the ball at the time...
 
1. Choose a team and a league you know nothing about - eg: easier Velez / Boca (Argentina) or Palmeiras 2nd div Brazil (more difficult.
2. Decide how you will build the squad and club from the bottom up.
3. Go to passion4fm site/blog and download the staff filters to help you get the best staff. Copy paste from there on a word page all the excellent staff according to their training focus. This will help you on the staff.
4. Using the boardroom interaction/training/scouting etc begin rebuilding.
5. The Brazil option has the advantage (for your situation) of the Regional Championships (not important for board to win them most are against **** opponents) so basically you can use them as extended squad/tactical honing and trial and error exercises.
6. Read blogs on FM - eg Start from FM Veteran (Shrewnaldo) which has links to a number of other great blogs.
7. Contrary to what you may think FM 14 is the easiest so far in that it doesnt take much to make a decent tactic - eg: from tactic creator go to 442 unbalanced and set it up as follows:

GK Defend
BPD Defend
CB Defend
Wbl auto
Wbr auto/attack
DLP defend
BWM Support
Winger (left) support
Make the AM position a shadow striker (attack)
IF (R) attack
DLF support.

Team instructions: more direct/run at defence (if lesser opponent /must score)/play wider/drill crosses/play wider/get stuck in/push higher up (if lesser opponent/must score)/hassle players/play faster

Standard Rigid.

8. Do the work - watch matches and react ...
 
Have a look under the shared and download tactics section, Jassar has a 5 star thread with loads of really good tactics including Bomb.
