Please help me!!!!

Hello, i'm Robert by the way
I am begining to get really thrustrated with this game at the moment :/
I konw i am no expert when it comes to management, however i have a footballers mind, as i play regualary, and therefore understand a good stadard of knowledge about tactics...

Anyway, from reading other post, i see we can't just ask for tactics ¬¬...... let down.
But i will happily chat on forever about what im doing and the likelyness of it going wrong.

Lets start..... I am Crewe Alex (local team) We have recently been relegated and have the upper hand over the coc cola league 2.....according to Fm2010 right....

We have amaizng youth and training facilities with stadard staff.....However i read up more and hired a new assistant manager called Huw.

Crewe are a very strong attacking team, so first of all i played around with the tactics and played quite an attacting game... this worked for the first few pre season games....then it went downhill.....couldnt win once. Not once. then i restarted....Brought i some higher league players on loan and stengthened my squad.... Listened to what my backroom staff were saying and tried to go with it....They LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha.

I just really dont know what to do or who to turn to .....the internet jsut provides me with cheats...and some fool who has his head up leeds ***. Please be kind enough and help me

Nice to meet you mate, now to start of Football Manager isn't that all realistic when it comes to bringing a clubs tactics and strength's etc from the real world into the game, i can understand what you meen about how it works in the real world but the best advice i can give you i just play the game as it says and is, after all the piont of bieng a manager there is put your own stamp on the team and club, the Game isn't always as far out as i made it before but Lower Teams it appears to be a little off. If you really want to make it life like, my advice is to use the Editor tool to sort it out i.e putting in correct details etc, not to ceat with Playe Atrubtes no matter how wrong they are i tend to leave them.

Thanks mate, i understand about the realistic side or in this case, unrealistic, in hte lower league teams... but i'm still stuck with what to do tactic wise. The best ive done with them, using every little brain cell in my footballers mind is get them into the play offs, and go on to lose the final.....The second season went heads up....for a reason i dont understand at all. So i gave up and started fresh, taking peoples advice over the internet on their teams. But really nothnig has worked. But i dont want to resort to cheating or going for Man Utd, becaue that would be the easy option. Im really stubbon haha and want to promote Crewe as they deserve to be come on you railwaymen!!!!!! Thanks for the advice though mate

Not a bover mate, start out a simple 4-4-2 and listin to your backroom staff for advie and there are some fantastic tactics to download from the site Also if you would like to help futre fm games or help out with this years January update then i would enquire on the FM Fourms - http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=176982

& My Team didn't even get a Chairman on the game this year :L, the past 2 years the Supporters club Chairman was added as the chairman on the game.

Hey mate I understand the problems you have been having too. I hope you sort it out. But I have a few suggestions...you could try a couple of the tactics that other players have submitted on here, not to cheat as such but get a feel for how they work in the game. And if they play well tweak them a little till you get a mix you like and above all is successful...

One thing I have noticed that seems to work very well tactic wise on this incarnation of FM is the 5-4-1 tactic, yes it's defensive and annoying but I got a few good runs with it pre season and through out. And again there is some good 5-4-1's to download on here.
Real is trial and error to get the tactics right, despite how easy it is to create tactics, it isn't so easy to get one that works.

What the 'this years january update' im really new to this like 20 minutes new lol

The Databse Update with all the January Transfers etc, if you go on the fourms and suggest a few things that need fixing or anything/issues you have and they will pass on to there researchers and i think it gets sorted by someone
