please help!!!please

after over coming this error report issue and starting a new game.. the game works good but i today downloaded patches and utilities but in order for these to take effect i need to click on preferences.. but wen i click on preferences it wont go into it... Send error report comes up and the whole football manager 09 shuts down.. it is only when i click preferences this happens... please any help???????????

before i uninstall and lose my managerial career ho confident are you that this would work and also have u heard of this prob before!!!

I dont think you have much choice mate but to re install your game and hope it works.You could try deleting the patches and stuff you downloaded and see if it works ok then,if so you know its them causing the error.
