Hi guys pls recommend any solid no-nonsense goalkeeper. refrain any recommendations from those big time legends like Casillas and Buffon who would NEVER join Man City :-D
 
alex smithes from huddersfield is brilliant with right training and tutoring and cheap
 
steve mandanda from marseille
quality keeper might cost a bit thoe
 
i would recommend to buy akinfeev, and loan ben foster for free as he is the third choice in man utd...
 
Wow looks like there are loads of excellent keepers out there! mandanda especially impresses me the most. but vincent enyeama..i cant find such person! but i do know who he is..if i'm not wrong, he is the keeper for Nigeria national team?
 
oscar ustari from getafe i signed him for man city hes a great keeper
 
I'd go for asenjo; he has the potential to become like Saint iker casillas (you know, the best keeper in the world ;)

Another vote for Asenjo - has been a rock for me with Toure and Djourou in front of him. Excellent stats for such a young goalie and, in my opinion, much better value than Mandanda, whose price can rocket up in FM09 within 6mths of the game starting, if you don't buy him.
