Is he worth the price tag? I've heard some people say that he's not playing well enough even though his stats are very good all around. Any similar, cheaper alternatives?

I payed 90m euros for him. His stats are really good, well rounded, but IMO he's not worth it. I expected more from him than 5 goals and 5-10 assists per season. But it's probably due to my tactic.

Probably has a lot to do with how you play him, His stats look great though.

Pogba is fantastic. The best midfielder in the game imo.
However 90-110m is a lot to pay.

If you have the budget for him, then why not.
Otherwise you can find some great alternatives in the 30-50m range -- Vidal, Kroos, Isco, Pjanic, Veratti, Kovacic, are just a few who come to mind.

Just signed Pogba for my Everton side in 2021 and his stats are a joke. He cost me £70 million in total (which is disgusting I know) but I had a huge transfer budget and needed someone to take us up a level in terms of dominance in Europe. So far he looks to be the man. I play a flat 3 in midfield with him in the middle as a BWM.
